Soulful Sinning

A dark comedy short film about Lucifer's son, Dil, who wants to sing in the heavenly choir. However his father plans for him to be the next ruler of Hell. Will Dil be able to break into his passion or forced into the family job?

This project was my thesis at Brooklyn College, my big inspiration to the story was my own experience. Being from small town Wyoming, it took a lot to convince my parents to let me go to film school in NYC. I also use South Park, Supernatural, and Vampires Suck as my inspiration for comedy.

With 6 months of preproduction and writing, 4 days to shoot, and 3 months to edit, Soulful Sinning was made with a budget of under $2,000.
